depths of the unknown
I realised that not everything happens the way you usually want it to. You don’t get that promotion you want, your heart gets broken and you miss out on a limited edition Mac mineral powder. Now, I always thought I was prepared for all of this dismay, but when it happens it's usually unexpected. This explains my current state of melancholy. I’m totally deficient in the moolah department so I can’t even self-sympathy shop.
Anywho, not to worry, I’m sure like leg-warmers, this misery trend too is sure to fade away into the depths of the unknown.
Speaking of shop... I bought the cutest boots from Urban Outfitters. They're completely granny style, but perfect with shorts, opaque stockings and an oversized shirt for winter! *Bought these before horrible state of inconsolable distress.

i love maurie & eve
I have never felt a love like this before. I don't think I can live without Maurie & Eve's Chain T-Shirt.
I'm so annoying, I've already emailed them for a stockist enquiry! Help guys, which colour should I get? This is love at first sight, ever since I saw it in Cleo or Cosmo or one of those girl magazines!
biological disease of the brain
So, I think I have some type of disorder. I'm more than obsessed with fashion. I'm around it all day at work, then come home and shop online for hours -when I'm not out physically shopping that is. When I realised that this may be a bit of a problem...especially when I no longer have any savings and spend my last few dollars on a "cute chiffon jacket" that I have ten more of, I thought I'd Google it. Apparently, a shopping disorder is not currently recognised by the medical health guide book but may be due to a biological disease in the brain! CRAZY RIGHT? Anywho, minutes later I then checked on the status of my urban outfitter order. And please see below for my excellent purchase! AND! Sorry for the horrible quality of the photos, had to take them on my phone.
I thought I'd leave with a familiar quote that has resonated with me
"...sometimes I'd buy Vogue instead of dinner. I just felt it fed me more."
